Today we had a Powerful day

We have been reading with Mrs Tollestrup and so many children have moved up levels.

Today we focused on our Indian Language and culture. We did beautiful Indian pattens.

We also had Janet who came in to talk us about Dog Safety. She had a lovely dog called Charlie.
We need to make sure that we no not touch dogs that we do not know and pick up their poo's.

Welcome to Indian Language week. We had a fantastic day today.

First Compton, Lanson, Lesieli and Ellen-Paige moved up a level in reading. Wow ! I can't wait to see how testing goes.

Then we went to the hall to watch a beautiful Maori treasure show. They did lovely song and dances for us and taught us about treasures of Maori.

Then we filmed our Indian language challenge.

Today we went to Te Tuhi Art Gallery. We learnt about colour mixing and we found it a bit tricky.

Our lesson was inspired by the coloured rods that we have in class.
